When put on top of the portafilter while grinding straight into the basket, the Venturi dosing ring functions as the ideal portafilter dosing funnel, capturing all of the coffee grinds that would otherwise go up on the bench from the grinder. It also has 6 magnets incorporated into the base to assist keep the device in place when grinding. Its 51mm dimension is ideal for any La Pavoni lever machines manufactured after 2000.
